Blizzard merged with Valve instead of LOLActivision?

For starters, Valve Blizzard would prob give mounts and companions away like it was free candy, and would've probably had TF2 companions (oh my fackin' god that would've been EPIC). Battle.net 2.0 would be integrated well with steam and would've been 20x better than what it is currently. Gamers would be gamers and would probably not have all of this Facebook integration. Chris Metzen and Gabe Newell would've been compiling innovating and amazing ideas for both Starcraft 2, WoW Cataclysm, and Diablo 3. Speaking of WoW, there probably would've been some sort of vague but hard Half Life 2 reference [item level 200 Crowbar mb?]
